The hotel was under construction for remodeling and it was an absolute mess - one TV didn't work, one had fallen off the wall and was propped up against the wall and had no remote. Our telephone didn't work so we couldn't call front desk or anybody if there was an emergency. Everything was crumbling and falling apart, no trash cans. None of the ice machines worked on any floor, the elevator was sketch and would start moving before the doors closed. We were promised a significant credit for the inconvenience and haven't seen it a week later.

UNSAFE and UNSANITARY. This hotel is undergoing EXTENSIVE renovation and when we reserved our room, well in advance, we had no idea. We did get an email right before arrival saying the pool, workout room and the kitchen were closed, ok no problem for a short trip. However, the hallways had no AC, the elevator flooring was torn up, flooring was stripped up in common areas and other areas. And had we not been so tired we would have immediately left. Room was moderately clean. Day two we did leave because the sink water turned brown. Frankly, I think this hotel should be closed down until the renovation is complete. Marriott should be ashamed. The front desk staff were courteous and understanding though.
