Extraordinary Stay!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Historico Central Hotel. Our stay was delightful in all ways - caring service, comfort, cleanliness, charm, a wonderful breakfast and complimentary espresso drinks, etc. provided all day long. Above all else, I was impressed with the compassion and generosity of Daniela, the Concierge. After telling Daniela about the one negative experience I had in Mexico City, she presented me with a gift to make me feel better!

I think it might be that my expectations were too high. I chose this hotel because it had very good reviews. The location is excellent if you want to visit the historic area. The room was very small, which was unexpected. Actually, there's nothing wrong with the hotel. I think it's just that my expectations were too high. The staff were very enthusiastic and nice.

The staff are excellent. Breakfast is modest in range but interesting. Rooms can be a little noisy in the mornings because some of them face the atrium where people have breakfast, but overall I think it’s a great hotel - and it is in a great area, in the heart of the city.

Fantastic location and amenities. We only stayed for a night, but I wish we would've stayed longer, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and cafe were really good and they also offered a tour which was well worth what we paid for our stay. If you plan to stay in the Zocalo area of Mexico City, this is an excellent pick.

The property was a central location, the breakfast was delicious. The staff, in particular, Didier, was so helpful as we made our way out of the hotel. We had complimentary water and snacks that made it extra special. It was a relaxing and safe hotel. The ambience was welcoming.
