Most of the staff we encountered were helpful in addressing concerns. We were initially given a room in the older side of the hotel and it didn't look like the photos online when we booked. The room itself was decently sized, but the bed and sheets were subpar. We asked to switch rooms because as a pregnant woman it was difficult to climb up the steps leading into the deep tub and get back out-I wanted a step-in shower, which I knew was an option after talking to our friends in other rooms. Our experience was way better in the room on the newer side of the hotel. Improved bed and bedding, walk-in shower, availability of mini fridge were some of the pluses. On the last few days, the hotel experienced some issues with their key cards which was a minor inconvenience. Location of hotel is convenient. Can't fault hotel for blocked roads and inconvenience caused by overnight protesters camping around the historic center.

All the staff are very helpful and polite, the area is very accessible to everything, the only issue si the bed is just too small, and the air condition is not that strong and in our last day it was broken but they moved us to another room but overall it’s a nice place to stay, great area as well.

The clerk gave me 20 peso when I paid in USD cash and she owed me 1,300 peso in change. Few things that could have been improved like the banging on the floor, but the burger in the restaurant was superb, the ribs, not so good! Breakfast was good. Unlimited water!

This is a very good downtown hotel one block from zocalo and the Dow town pyramid. It has two towers, one new and renovated and an old one (where I stayed). Staff is very friendly and the hotel has nice perks free, filtered water, coffee, and tea in the afternoon/evening, plates of cookies, chips and peanuts available during the coffee hours. The old tower rooms are big enough, a little dated, but comfortable. I got a room with a balcony, which is a nice perk. I think the rooms with an inside view might be a little too claustrophobic. The hotel sits on part of the old pyramid in downtown, which is a very nice additional feature, as you can have breakfast over the pyramid with a glass floor. Overall, I would highly rate this hotel for a visit downtown. If you are going to the airport after this hotel, it was only a 20 minute ride, which for Mexico City is a great perk. The city has so many things to offer, that, of course it is far away from other amenities and venues, but it is easy to move around with Uber or with the shared bikes that are available at stations close to the hotel

Ecellent location and service. Restaurant good and with resonable prices. A minor point: Conceirge service is understaffed and even the hard working staff could not quite remedy that. Tip for guests. If you use it as a base for trips outside Centro, be careful to allow plenty of time. Traffic in and out of the neighborhood is horrific. But we didn’t care. You can just walk to so much.
