The hotel was gorgeous, room was super clean and comfortable. The bed was heavenly, staff were lovely. Such a great experience. The included breakfast was lovely. The only downside is the price of valet ($48 per night). Would come back in a heart beat.

Absolutely loved our stay! We stayed here a few years ago before the remodel. They did a great job at preserving the hotel's original character while making it more comfortable. Will definitely stay again soon

Great location - not such a great hotel

Hotel is in a beautiful area, that’s where the good ends. Got in at 5:30pm to check in, room wasn’t ready despite check in starting at 4pm. Had to wait around for a while until another room was ready. By then was hungry and tried ordering room service. Phones are old and barely work, and when they did work I had 3 separate 10 min stints on hold prior to just giving up and leaving to get food elsewhere. Bed was good and I slept well, and then took off next morning.

We loved the location of the Mayfair and the tropical vibe of the interior, but just be prepared, it’s an older hotel with paper thin walls. We could easily hear babies crying in other rooms or neighbors chatting on balconies after midnight. It was a busy weekend with the Grove arts fest going on, so this is partly our fault. The staff was super friendly and handled a false fire alarm at 3:30am very well, but we will unfortunately pick a newer hotel next time we are in the area!

We have stayed at the Mayfair about a half dozen times since it has reopened. We love coconut grove and the Mayfair provides very large updated clean rooms. We enjoy using the pool and love how walkable the area is to dining and shopping. Will continue to return every year!
