Unfortunately this was my second worst stay in any hotel ever we travel to Europe/ Italy every year I spent quite time researching to book a hotel ninety percent of the time we are happy with our stay because we know what to expect, we checked in to Bristol hotel on May 13 th I made the reservation 3 months in advance and request a better room and possibly an upgrade because I am silver member on Expedia and we were celebrating on our anniversary. The reception person very nice but like many others always say they are completely booked, we got room 311 no complaints to make except old dirty carpet. I asked if we can have a better room when we return on to stay another 3 nights, they said okay, checked in on May 19 th the suite was small room cut to two pieces I’d you walked around the bed couldn’t help hitting your knees, I asked to switch the same response but eventually they put us in room 306 what I call disaster, it smells bad the whole time, no bedside table on one side, I felt and heard the bed springs, if you sat in the tub there was nothing to hang on for support to get up and some kind of wired noise I couldn’t figure from outside or inside. I asked if we can have our old room 311 they said it was booked. The location is perfect cross street from train station staff are helpful but this hotel for sure is not a four star even for Europe standard, definitely need to get rid of the filthy carpet and do something serious about bat tubs. I give this hotel 2 stars and this

Great Location

Hotel was maybe a 5 min walk from Milan Central Train station. Staff was very helpful and even ordered our cab for us in the morning. Room was great and with a fridge. Hotel is close to everything you need.

Staff were welcoming. Breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options for a variety dietary needs/wants. Just steps from the Central Terminal but not too noisy at night (just late night conversations outside). Would definitely stay here again if I am in Milan.

An eclectic classical art deco-style hotel. Management very considerate to our needs and accommodating. A stone’s throw away from the magnificent central railway station made this hotel‘s location perfect for first timers visit to Milan. Would consider staying here again! Price also a consideration considering How expensive Milan can be.

I dont usually leave a review if found hotel to be outdated or has experienced inconvenience. But this, i will so others will be warn and make a wise booking. Hotel Bristol is so convenient if youre departing to early morning airport bus bcoz its right across the central train station. I stayed for a night for my long haul flight back to Los Angeles and this is my worst experience in all Expedia booking. This hotel is BESIDE a DISCO (as per night shift receptionist when i called to complain of the pounding loud noise). My heart was pounding(feeling like a heart attack) from all those noise and chatter right outside my room 109 window. I was given a new room (third floor)past midnight and noise was less but i cant sleep anymore after that disturbance. I dont understand why the first receptionist who checked me in gave me that room and its not even busy that day. He could have given me some room away from that disco and that probably send me a positive notes review. But yes, furniture is outmoded, tiny shower, poor exhaust as i smell cigarette smoke. If you have nasty allergy, this is not your hotel. To the second receptionist/night shift who send me a bag of snacks/water on my way out at 345am, thank you. And to the first one, i wish he could have consider giving me a better room. Why not give guest a chance to rest before flying out the next day.

Nice breakfast! Friendly Staff! Great location!

Other thsn the beds being hard and no air-conditioning, the hotel was lovely. We had to keep our window open, and of course it was noisy. Bring earplugs! Perhaps other rooms have A/C, just be sure to ask.
