We booked thru Expedia. Upon checking in, we were told by the host that the breakfast that we purchased through Expedia was voided. “It’s only for members”. We were told we’d get a refund for the total of $24 ($12 each) by the host (we didn’t). Then the host says we can purchase the breakfast if we’d like through them. So that was confusing. We saw in the elevator a sign that said $12 ea. breakfast. Nothing about a being a “member”. We ate somewhere else. The bed was rock hard. The fitted sheet was stained but clean. I’ll post pics if possible. The mirror light in the bathroom didn’t work.

They were we doing the parking lot when our party but a lot of parking stops. When we walked into the room it had an odor like old wood and a musty smell. Luckily we always bring air fresheners. There are bottle on shamapoo and conditioner in the bathroom but they were big bottles that looks like everyone that stays there uses. Then there was no soap for people to wash their hands. We had to go out and get a bottle. Also the sheets are not very comfortable they are ruff. The lobby looks great and there water a Starbucks, restaurant, and place to reheat food if you bring something back to the hotel.

Staff was kind, our first room was 86 degrees when we checked in around 6pm and the AC didn’t seem to work well within the hour so we asked for another room as our toddler was nearing bedtime and we also had an infant. We did get moved to another room that was much cooler so that was resolved. The beds were comfy, it’s definitely not a premium hotel but it worked for the night with an early morning flight. Shuttle was convenient but the driver wasn’t even near the shuttle until 558am with a 6am scheduled departure. Staff didn’t relay to us shuttle times when we initially asked about it upon check-in but it worked out and was a short drive.

Travelled to Milwaukee to attend a 50th Birthday party event in Crown Plaza, for convenience I stayed in the same property. The event was organized in excellent way, food was delicious, prompt service and drinks. My stay was also very comfortable. This property is very spacious with Restaurants,Bar,Starbucks Cafe and also a Indoor swimming pool, hot bath tub and gym.

Overall the property was acceptable. However, they dropped the ball in so many little things. TV didn't work, no cups (drinking or coffee) in the room, no towels in the room, coffee maker was not stocked; all these items had to be addressed after check in. The air conditioner was loud. Parking was awful and dedicated to meet the needs of a large event. On the other hand, staff were friendly and very helpful, they were quick to respond to the in room deficiencies with the exception of the air conditioner. Because of the above items and because there is nothing in the immediate area we would not stay there again.

It’s run down, super small rooms, no remote for the TV so couldn’t watch it our entire stay, stains on walls, lampshade, etc. property not mowed well with weeds, parking lot roped off the entire time like a crime scene. No extra blankets, just not a nice place like you typically think of a Crowne plaza.
