The hotel was nice and clean. Extremely busy for the holiday season, and therefore, the attentiveness of the employees wasn't anything above and beyond. Long wait for valet service (so we self-parked), and a long wait for check-in. The new reservation system resulted in our breakfast credit being overlooked, and we had to stop at check-out to ask for the credit to be applied to our account. We also received an upgrade as a platnium expedia member but got a room by the elevator and the chime was quite loud in the evening and early morning. For a luxury hotel, I would have expected a bit more. They definitely seemed to look down on guests booking through a third party and made that known to us in terms of compatibility issues with their software.

The receptionist was excellent. Room was nice. People in our hallway were loud at midnight. Parking was difficult. Arrived too late to dine at the Studio (missed our rez time) so we had pizza. It was very good.

Nice hotel with some unique artsy touches but the walls are absolutely paper thin so we heard neighbors on both sides (one group of drunk and merry ladies and one fighting couple and their TV). Some soundproofing would be nice.
