My wife and daughter spent the night. While they loved the facility, they were not told at check in, or later, that a source for heating multiple downtown MKE buildings was cut off earlier. They shivered the night under extra blankets on one of the coldest mid December nights in memory. Acknowledging this would have been appropriate by hotel staff. They only learned of the utility problem from another guest who complained. Good will would have been some form of compensation.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The lobby was very unique and beautiful with all the artwork in the galleries. Felt like I was at the art museum! Also really enjoyed the live music they had in the lobby in the evening. Room was very clean and liked the retro aesthetic. Will definitely stay again.
