I'll start by saying the staff was very nice. Now to the bad part of the review, the first room we was put in (always check the AC, beds and showers) the AC unit had ants all over. So we went and got another room, that room smelled like feet when you opened the door. The bathroom is WAY TO SMALL, the breakfast area is a little crowded depending on the time you go done. Second day no meat was offered at breakfast, if you are a meat eater. The pool is in a horrible spot in the hotel, it's close to the front desk but in a room that opens up to the downstairs. Could smell the chlorine as you opened the hotel door. Some of the metal items in the bathroom were corroded.

I stayed at 3 hotels on my trip, this was the only Quality Inn. It ranked in the middle of the three. Clean enough, everything worked, breakfast was good, it isn't fancy and bits are showing their age, but overall a clean, well-managed place. There were some boisterous guests that staff dealt with fairly, and asked them rather than demanded they stop which they did begrudgingly. Food is close, and it seemed like an okay area..

Basic clean accommodations with a decent, firm bed. No tissues in room. Hot breakfast on the basic side. It's a budget hotel, so my expectations were met and I had a pleasant overnight.

Great hotel to stay at for a good price. It is very close to downtown Detroit but far enough away for for a peaceful quiet area with plenty of restaurants and a minute from the freeway. We stay here every time we come to Detroit. Highly recommended!

An honest review. The 2 day stay was in April 2025. The hotel rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, however..if you have trouble walking, be warned this is a very big hotel. The rooms needed updating. Only 1 usb port per room. I had to get another room because the hot water didn’t wok in my first room. I won’t be returning.
