I've stayed at this hotel before. It's a great. I would stay there again.
This time, however, winter storms cancelled my flights so I was unable to get there. Contacting the hotel to notify them of a late or possible non-arrival was virtually impossible. The call rarely was answered during business hours, and then it took multiple attempts to connect with a manager who spoke English. I notified the hotel within the cancellation window that I might need to cancel if my flight was cancelled due to severe winter weather. The flight was rescheduled again and then cancelled a second time, so I was unable to make the trip. The hotel was unable to cancel my reservation after it started and would not even cancel the remaining days. Hotels.com tried contacting the hotel (thank you!) but also claimed they could not reach them.
Lesson learned: Instead of making one reservation for four nights, make four reservations for one night, so subsequent nights can be cancelled without penalty.
