We stayed here in 2003 and had a good experience and wanted to revisit in 2017.  We enjoyed the open grounds, the peace, and the mistral winds blowing through the trees - a complete Provencal country experience away from the city hustle.  We appreciated the location near the Vaclues & Luberon regions for exploring in our rental car.
However, the experience in 2017 was a let down.  We checked in and went to our room to find no A/C (over 100F/42C outside), no working internet or TV.  They could have told us about the A/C and internet problems during check-in, but the staff lacks customer support skills.  The A/C got fixed in a few hours, so we decided to stay.
Only 2 people work both the hotel desk and restaurant waiting/bussing.  In 2014, the restaurant used to be a jewel where people from Avignon used to come here and dine.  In 2017, for dinner they mixed up our order, removing our plates eating mid-course.  The breakfast in 2003 used to be a fabulous buffet with automatic juice squeezer, hardboiled eggs, etc.  Now, it's sparsely stocked with basic continental items - you have to ask the staff when they run out of things.  The fancy coffee maker helps a little. 
We did 'tolerate' it for the nostalgia and country experience, but rebooked after 2 nights - Expedia helped us avoid cancellation fees and the hotel was understanding. 
I'd only recommend this place for patient people who know some French language; you can coax a quite, French country experience out of it.
