Overall the property was good value for money. As i had a 4 night booking Inwas disappointed to be in a room adjacent to the lifts. In room house keeping was more miss than hit.

Great value for money during winter (outside of school holidays) and other busy periods like Australian Open Tennis tournament, Australian F1 Grand Prix race weekend or AFL Grand Final week, etc). Hotel staff are quick to resolve any issues where possible if you ask them. Book a room here and you are unlikely to be disappointed.

Besides my room being great value for money during winter and outside big event periods like the AFL Grand Final, the staff are friendly, genuine and professional (housekeeping staff changed my bathroom towels without asking while I was out without me asking. This was really appreciated). The thing I loved the most was being able to watch streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, Kayo Sports and other TV apps in perfectly clear HD quality minus any of the usual bad issues with internet connectivity. View Melbourne hotel is probably one of the few hotels in Australia where this is possible. 5-stars for this achievement ! I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone looking for accommodation in Melbourne. It is not too far from the city centre and next to the beautiful Albert Park (home of the annual Australian Formula 1 car race). It is also next to public transport connections by tram to the city or down to bayside suburbs like St Kilda and Brighton, around a 20 minutes walk to Prahan’s Chapel Street markets, food, retail businesses and train station and less than 5 minutes walk to The Alfred Hospital. Book a room at View Melbourne hotel and you won’t be disappointed. 👍

The Hotel is very cheap but not good for a family. It's advertised it has a swimming but it doesn't, that should be updated in the website and photos taken down if possible. The room was clean, house maids were fast, we needed an extra blanket and towels. The parking is very secure but also a tight squeeze to try and park the car. Hotel buffet breakfast was good alot of different choices. The garden bar closes around 9.30pm, even when we stayed the weekend. Room service for ordering food is abit slack, its hould run from the times it says and not on a daily bases, other than that staff is amazing.

At first upon walking in thought it was lovely went up to the room when you walked into it the under bedding was dirty told management they were lovely changed our room the next day left bottle of wine in the room .the next day my daughter went to enquire about where to find the pool she was told the pool hadn't been in use for the last two years but that was the only reason we booked in the first place because it was advertised with pool place it was apologised
