The doorman, front desk staff, restaurant and house cleaning staff were excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the rooms are aging and in need of refurbishment. However, there are many more plusses and I would enthusiastically stay there again.

We have just enjoyed a 5 night stay at this excellent hotel. We were in 2301 which was a spacious room with very comfortable bed. Everything very clean. Housekeeping do a great job. Very pleasant staff. No complaints at all would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! One of the highlights was how pet friendly the hotel is — our dog was adored by all the staff, which made us feel incredibly welcomed and comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy: it's not maintained/cleaned properly. Our room was in very poor shape which you can see from the photos I took when we set foot in it. Torn bedsheet, hair on pillowcase, hair on hairdryer bag, worn out sofa/cabinet and VERY dusty aircon filter. Charging for $300+ per night is unacceptable for such a room. The hotel management did send a letter the next day and waived CAD 50 from our bill. But honestly this room should not be made available for booking before proper work is done.

The hotel is quite clean and nice, has suitable amenities for a short-term trip, and is situated in a great area for someone who wants to explore downtown Montréal and Mont-Royal. The only water refill station I could find was in the gym (whose pool was closed when I stayed) and the staff didn't present an option to tell housekeeping staff to skip a room.
