Overall, as a young woman traveling alone, I felt safe at this property and would consider coming back. Pros: separate sink in the room, spacious, lots of storage space, great surrounding area (2 min walk from pharmaprix), helpful staff, good cleaning habits, easy to navigate, communal room (with a microwave, kettle, TV, couch), great security Cons: you have to drag your luggage up a flight of stairs when checking in/out, co-ed communal bathroom regarding toilet and showers, no AC but they do give you a large fan, thin walls (although luckily not unbearable)

The only issue that I had was with the showers. The showers are shared and I do not have an issue with that because I knew that when I booked the room. The problem for me was that the water temp went from too hot to 3rd degree burns. There were 3 showers in the area of my room that were all the same and when I was leaving I checked another shower in a different area and it was the same too.

Convenience of placement right downtown was nice, room was good also, no a/c but that was known, but brought a few small fans along with me. My only concern was that it was a shared (male/female) bathroom and shower room and a little concerning when I travelled with my teenage daughter. Otherwise, room was clean, staff was very pleasant and overall a great experience. Would do it again☺️

This is my new favorite place to stay in Montreal! What you get is all you need…a bed and a bedroom. I’ve paid 3 times as much and get extra perks at other places, but I’d much rather spend that extra money on fun things in Montreal. I also love the history of the place.

Recommend staying for one night on the way to airp

It was clean, safe and neat. The cleaning staff woke me up in the morning when I tried to sleep in. I had to go down the hall to the bathroom and shower in my nightgown past the cleaning staff. It was further from where I wanted to be than I thought.

Very clean and quiet accommodations. Lots of hot water for the showers. The bed was very comfortable. In the heart of the city and close to restaurants. Everything you would need in a stay. If you’re not a princess you will appreciate this place.

As my first time staying in the hotel i can say that the room is clean and had a plenty of sun coming trough the window, quiet and close to mont royal station. Staff agent was expecting my arrival, my stay room was ready to check in at 4:00 pm, check out is at 11: 00 am. Washroom and shower are outside your stay room You need to walk in the hallway to go to the shared washroom and take your shower.

The residence is very clean and quiet; the staff is super friendly. It’s in a great location, just a five minute walk to the subway / metro station Guy-Concordia, from which you can travel across the city with ease. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved your staff, all of them. We received special attention from Shane and Megan. Everyone was so nice! The room and the bathroom were very clean and very pleasant. Thank you for the nice fan. It was very much appreciated. It would have been nice to have been able to open the window, but we could not find any assistance for that.
