Great location near the train and bus station. The hotel and rooms are themed beautifully in a Bavarian mountains theme (skiing, anyone?) that was both fun and practical. We only stayed one night but it was comfortable and enjoyable.

One of our favorite stays on our germany trip. We stopped in early to drop off our bags before exploring christmas markets. It was only a short walk away from the train station. I'm a fan of cows and alpine areas. The decor was cute and fun. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated being able to open the windows for some cool night air. All you can eat breakfast was a great spread. they even had a munich special: weisswurst! so we didn't have to go out of our way to find some to try. laundromats located only a 5 min walk away. wifi signal was great. I was able to game overwatch on my Nintendo switch without interruptions.

This was a great place for us to stay. It's close to the station which was important to us. It has its own vibe which we enjoyed. We were able to use the downstairs area where breakfast is served later in the day just to sit for a coffee. It's a lovely space. And, yes, the breakfast is exceptional. The Sofitel and Meridien are close by, but I would rather stay here at the Cocoon even if I wasn't on a budget holiday!
