The hotel is located out of the city centre in a newish neighbourhood with large businesses around. The staff were really helpful and kind and very efficient. The room furnishings are not the newest but not in bad condition either, but the room could do with a more modern makeover. The bathroom floor could have been a bit cleaner. Carpet in room had some stains, the heavy metal shower tap came off while I was showering and nearly hit my foot! The shower drain was left partially open which I can only assume to allow for better drainage. The towels were really thin and upon arrival only body towels (and no hand towels) were provided.

My family and I stayed at the Ibis for the Eurocup opening game and it was the perfect stay for our trip. The hotel has wonderful staff, a nice restaurant and coffee bar, excellent breakfast, and comfortable rooms. We were happy to find a shopping plaza with restaurants a short walk away, and the location was convenient for local transportation around Munich. We had a very memorable stay at the Ibis!

OK if business in Schwabing but not for tourists

I would not have picked this location for our leisure trip but we were part of a group tour and this was our last hotel. It's in the business area. It is beside offices of Amazon, etc so if you're on a business trip, it's good. But as a tourist, it's far from transportation unless you take a Bolt / Uber. Trains are a good 12-15 minute walk. Buses stop about 300 meters away but it's not that often. Hotel itself is standard IBIS - clean, comfortable, reasonably priced.

Stayed here to go to Oktoberfest. Really liked the location. Parking fee is separate from the hotel fees and located in underground garage. Breakfast had good selection of food.

No frills, but clean. The 10-minute walk to the U6 takes you to the center of the city easily. The area directly around the hotel is very quiet. Note about the garage: only smaller cars actually fit through the door.

I stayed at the hotel 5 years ago and had a good impression at that time. Unfortunately, the present stay changed this impression dramatically. The room was by all means not clean at all. The curtain was ripped, surfaces of tables, cupboards etc. we’re obviously not wiped. The TV and the antenna was were not disconnected, from their sockets, respectively and the dirty remote control was anywhere, but not at the place you could easily find it. The day after the I checked-in the cleaner even forgot the cleaning cloths in the room, which looked an DIY invitation to guest. Is this what you want to outsource to a business traveler? Though in times of COVID services are limited but essential hygiene and cleaning is a mandatory service to guarantee the wellbeing of guests. I missed that basic service in this hotel, I changed to ibis next door, which was a different world regarding cleanliness and services. The room at ibis next door included a hygiene wrap for the remote control et. provided for a safe and pleasant environment. Things your Hotel did not provide at all!

we had a great 4 day stay at this hotel and the staff was amazing. I made a great friend there and he was one of the staff members his name is Edin!. He was great and provided us with a wonderful customer service experience. In general the hotel is outside of tourist area but other than that it was really good including the breakfast

Good business hotel

Well located for the business area in Schwabing. Rooms are clean and functional. Breakfast is good. There were a few minor maintenance issues, like flickering lights in the bathroom, and a leaky shower hose.
