Excellent stay, front desk was always helpful, room service prompt, and the same day dry cleaning service was extremely convenient. The views are stunning in the ocean view suites, and the location is so central to all amenities, shopping and attractions.

Have stayed at the Stamford a number of times and we will continue to come here! Great location, and while the building is dated, it is clean and staff are great. Love the breakfast in the morning and the easy walk to the beach.

Hotel is well positioned next to the beach. Decor slightly tired but tidy. Unfortunately we were not made aware either at booking or at check in of the Greek festival being held right beneath our balcony with Greek music and PA announcements being made continuously from 10am-10pm for 2 day of our 3 day stay. Obviously out of the hotels control but some advance warning might have been nice. Shout out to Jonah the concierge who was very helpful.

Room and hotel more widely could do with a refresh. Everything seemed tired, faded and a bit scuffed. Smelly floor drain in bathroom for duration of stay (hotel's solution was to have someone come and pour scented liquid into it). Shower drain blocked on first night (had just arrived from a very long flight) and we ended up with wet carpet in the main room area for the rest of the stay. Was expecting better for the room rate. That said, bed v comfortable, the ocean views were incredible (the sunsets...) and it's in an excellent location. If a bit of money was spent on painting, carpets and modernising, she could easily be back to her former premium level.
