Really enjoyed the stay at the hotel with it's art deco theme, One suggestion is that the modern ceiling light fittings are changed to art deco style.

The highlight for us was location. We were positioned at the start of the Art Deco walk and right in front of the beach promenade. The hotel was historic with authentic Art Deco styling. Service was excellent. The only negative was that parking was not onsite, but we recognize that there is nothing they can do about it.

Classic renovated property, great staff

Great to walkable locationin the heart of the town. Lots of restaurants and shops. Historic building updated with period and modern. Great staff. Smallish period sized nicely appointed room.

The decor was outstanding. A real gem of a hotel. Just beautifully designed and decorated. The staff were very professional and helpful with local knowledge. The location is great. Parking was safe two blocks away from the hotel. Loading bay outside though. Couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Just wonderful.

Golf trip

Got a superior room but it was tiny, great location. Everything walkable., We’re early risers and not much open until later. Hotel restaurant and bar were both good. Shower was tiny, you better not be a large person and there’s quite a drop off from shower to floor. Dangerous if you’re unsteady on your feet. Reception was very nice and helped get our luggage up the steep front steps. Parking is fairly close, easy walk, or if you luck out you can get after hours parking for free. Cape Kidnappers was an easy drive from there.

Great hotel experience from start to finish. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist and we loved the art deco interiors of the hotel - so stylish and cool. We were happy with the room and were impressed with the amenities, as well as the closely located car park for $20NZD a night. The hotel is perfectly located in Napier and we hope we can visit again soon!
