Pebble Beach is a great option for Napier. We had a huge room on an upper floor with a balcony and an unobstructed view of the water. The location is terrific, about a 15 minute walk along the beautiful Marine Parade to downtown's cafes and restaurants. We especially loved Roam Cafe which is also on Marine Parade on the way into town. There was a small kitchenette with supplies for our morning tea and coffee. There was also a stereo and DVD player, useful for rainy days. The AC worked well. We appreciated the guest laundry (there's only one washer and one dryer but we didn't have to wait long). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking in a large lot was a big bonus. The room decor felt a bit dated but it was comfortable and very spacious. We also spent several nights at the Nautilus, another motel about a block away, and felt that the room was slightly nicer and the price quite a bit lower.

We really enjoyed this property. It was walkable to the Art Deco/shopping district, including full scale grocery stores. We didn’t use the spa tub, but it was sparkling clean. Reception was friendly, but open hours were quite limited. We enjoyed our time in Napier!

Bad luck Maybe?

Ants taken over the room and ruined a bunch of dry food and the floor had a major leak cause our carpet to be wet. Solution from stadd was towels over the wet spot and no options for the ants. Checked out a day early, given attitude from their admin # and no refund due to the lacl of accomodations. I think this was just bad luck with a leak, ants, and staff with bad attitude because the place was full and the location is great. To be reviewed regardless.

The room was very nicely appointed with all the things that one might need for an overnight stay. The view off the balcony of the ocean was lovely. A very nice motel. Would definitely stay again if I am in the Napier area.

Three enjoyable days at the Pebble Beach Motor Inn which is an easy walk from the centre of Napier. The room was very spacious and the fittings were of a high quality. Napier is a lovely town and there are plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity. Parking is available at the hotel or in adjoining roads at no cost. The front rooms benefit from a balcony and sea views.

Comfortable, clean apartment. Each BR (2) has an ensuite bathroom. Bathrooms are updated and very nice. Beds are very comfortable. Did not like the couches in the living room - they’re older and need to be cleaned.
