Great Staff, Nice Hotel

Stayed a few nights to attend a concert and just see some of Nashville. The hotel was fine, but the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I think the staff really made the difference for us.

It was ok, as in it had a breakfast buffet and the beds weren't bad. The whole place had a weird smell, my room smelt weird, and my room was also dirty. All of the handles and light switches were filthy, and there were 2 pieces of large candy behind the bedroom door, a top of a strawberry, and other crumbs throughout the room. The shower had mold everywhere. Definitely not what I was expecting for the price I paid. Would probably not stay here again.

I really wanted to like the place but upon check-in, I knew the place wasn’t what the pictures portrayed. Front desk person was on a personal call on her AirPods when she checked us in. Hallways smelled like marijuana even though it’s a no-smoking hotel. The absolute worst was the lack of hot water in the shower. Was in disbelief when the shower water would not get even a bit warm.

While I would love to give this hotel five stars, I can’t. While I loved check-in (Ashley) was wonderful, but everything else truly needs improving. We walk-in a dirty room with hair on the pillows, blankets that had more stains than a crime scene, and bugs. The elevators are filthy and the patio pillows need a good wash-down. I had to wear sandals to take a shower. And don’t get me started on the “weed” optional policy. I say “optional” because folks were smoking so much, we almost got a contact high. This would be a wonderful place, but they need to clean it from top to bottom.
