Great place to stay in Nashville

Great place to stay. Convenient to Broadway and other nearby areas like the gulch. Staff always very helpful. Rooftop bar is great and the pool is also very well maintained.

Heart of Broadway

Location was amazing, rooftop bar (thanks Julia and Issac) had great ambiance, food was great, music wasn't country (nice change) and met lots of cool people. Housekeeping went above (maybe it was my winning personality). Concierge assisted with off the strip recommendations. AAMM is a must. Would definately recommend.

They delayed my check in due to me booking through Expedia. They did not tell me what the issue was and refused to tell the Expedia agent I spoke to as well. Expedia did a wonderful job of helping me while the hotel staff just told me to wait in the lobby while they figured it out. No manager came out during that time to speak to me. At the end of this ordeal, one of the staff member just handed me a room key. That’s it! No other introduction to the property and its amenities. I was here for a work conference. Staff during the conference were attentive. Food was either decent or inedible. Meeting rooms are good. The room was good expect for dirty marks on the bedding sheets when I got there, room was 76 degrees despite me turning on the AC and had to have the staff come and check it out, room service incurs a “delivery fee” of $5 which I have never heard of in my life, and I was texted during my stay saying the private slip was on my door so they will not provide room cleaning unless I text them back by a certain time. I had left the room early in the morning and removed the slip and they texted me this hours after I had left my room. I told them there was no private tag on my door, I intentionally removed it early this morning and that yes, they can clean the room. And they did. No one seemed to use the pool when I went. Not sure if it was because of the conference using that space. If so, I would be frustrated if I was just a guest staying for leisure and I could not use it

Front desk prevented me from buying a bottle of water at 4am in the morning and told me they told me to bring an ID. I was then escorted to a water fountain. Felt like I hadn’t just spent a ridiculous amount of money for view of a roof in a basic hotel room. Whatever the Marriott will be really grateful for this service.
