Great location in the heart of Nassau. Walkable to the fish fry. Which is where I suggest you go for food. It’s cheap and delicious. This hotel is cashless and they don’t do Apple Pay but you can charge to your room. Make sure you’re ready to spend a bundle on food if you eat at the hotel (try the ribs at the vacation cafe, best item there). The straw market is close by as well as many wonderful shops for souvenirs. Go to the pharmacy around the corner for any medical needs (way cheaper). Best thing about this hotel is the 24 hour infinity pool on the fourth floor. I would return here in the future now that I’m seasoned with the area and know where to go. Most of the staff is friendly here and overall we had a wonderful time.

I liked the view of the ocean from my room and enjoying looking at the cruise ships coming in everyday. I like that the hotel is in close proximity to the city shopping areas; however everything closes early because they go based of the cruise ship schedule. The hotel is very boring. No day or night activities. Just some pools, a private beach, bowling and movie theater. The hotel advertised Jazz from Thursday-Saturday; however, we showed up on Thursday and there was no performer and the staff had no information. It was disappointing.

The staff was very friendly and gave me a good impression of Bahamian people/vibes. Good music bumping, cold drinks, and cool bar areas at resort. Hotel was clean and pool was amazing. Nice beach access and walkable to the area where the cruise ships arrive. Area around cruise ships arrival could be a bit cleaner, but the hotel has no control over that aspect.

Room was clean, very nice view with balcony, water park was a hit and good location. Staff Vernell and Antoine were awesome very pleasant people. Excursion was out of this world. Thank you I gave four stars because I believe 200 a day for a hold on my cc for deposit is a little excessive, we had to keep calling for wash clothes, the tv in bedroom wouldn’t work until we called someone and the jacuzzi stopped working one time. I would definitely recommend this resort otherwise.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! A major factor in booking Margaritaville was the advertised SOS Pool Bar, which was closed during my stay. When I asked about this, a staff member stated it was closed for renovations, while the manager insisted it was closed due to “low season.” These explanations directly contradict each other, and it is clear that guests are not being provided with honest information. This was not a minor inconvenience — the closure of the SOS Pool Bar made it difficult to access food and drinks while at the pool as we had to take the elevator to the lobby for a simple cocktail or water. The dishonesty from both staff and management made the situation unacceptable. Guests deserve transparency, not misleading or false statements. After reaching out to management, I have been ignored for weeks, and to date, have not received any reply to my concerns. The beach (if that's what you want to call it) was a mere strip of sand with chairs for guests clustered together. Was not a relaxing environment at all. We also weren't provided any fresh towels one day. Rushing to shower and be on time for dinner reservations, we were unable to shower until housekeeping provided clean towels for our room. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and stay at a resort that truly cares for their guests!

Beautiful Hotel, Great Food, and Amazing Pools

I recently stayed at Margaritaville and had an amazing experience! 🌴 The pools were absolutely fantastic — perfect for relaxing and fun for the whole family. The hotel itself was beautiful and very comfortable, and the restaurants were all very good with plenty of variety to enjoy. From start to finish, it was a great getaway with lots of fun for the family. I’d definitely recommend Margaritaville for anyone looking for a fun and memorable vacation spot!
