Our trip to Baha Mar SLS was very relaxing and enjoyable. We dined at Cleo, Marcus, Costa and Shaung Bau. The service was excellent everywhere you went. From the pools to the hotel staff. The only negative is the room was small and there was no actual space on the balcony to sit. That’s something I would change next time.

If you’re a family in a standard room, don't stay at SLS. You can only enter and exit the room by going through the bathroom. If someone is taking a shower or doing their business, you’ll have to wait, unless they don't care. The poorest hotel room design I have ever seen. Restaurant staff not very pleasant and typically slow. You’ll need some patience. The property itself though is amazing with all the available activities.

We decided to pick Baha mar sls for our family trip of 14 people, 10 adults and 4 kids. Prior to arrival, we tried every number we can find and emailed the restaurants to make reservations knowing seating 14 people last minute would be hard but never heard back. The first day we had to order pizza and eat outside. The second day, my mother slipped and fell in the shower, before the water was even turned on. She was taken to the hospital and has two fractures in her ankle and needs surgery. Getting a wheel chair and crutches from the resort took hours and the only thing we got was a case of water and milk for comfort. That evening we went to eat at Cleo, a nice Mediterranean restaurant. Our group is mostly vegetarian except me and my husband. We order the chicken kabob and shatshuka and got food poisoning. We had vomiting and diarrhea all night and the next day. Literally ruined the remainder of the trip because we were too weak to take the kids to the waterpark or beach and slept all day. Then the first night, the front desk forgot to get a credit card for one of the rooms and called us twice at 11:30 pm after our kids fell asleep. It woke them up and then we had a rough first night. I’ve stayed at Baha mar grand Hyatt before and had a good experience and convinced my family to come back and try SLS. NEVER AGAIN. I get others may have had a good experience but the service we had was terrible. We even had to wait hours for just extra blankets one night.

Do not ever stay at the SLS Baha Mar. My husband and I decided to try SLS Baha Mar as we normally stay at Atlantis when going to the Bahamas. I must say, the SLS Baha Mar was a true waste of money. The rooms are super dirty, the staff lacks hospitality, and the resort is not well kept. My husband and I arrived early to check in and enjoy the resort amenities as we waited for our room to be ready. Once we were informed our room was clean and ready, we eagerly went up to our room only to be disappointed by how disgustingly dirty it was. The bathroom sink and shower had dark stains all over them, there had pink dirty spots on the counter that they didn’t even bother to try and clean up because I was able to scrape some of it off myself with a little bit of effort. The towels had stains on them (I have uploaded a photo to show you what it looked like), there was hair still in the corners of the shower, there was a black residue on the shower head and shower railings, the carpets in the hallways were all dirty and stained, the elevator doors had streaks of god knows what coming down and splattered all over them (as shown in the photo), and the furniture was all chipped and not well kept. And to top it off, my husband went to drink one of the Evian bottles of water in the room, just to find that it was filled with ALCOHOL, not water. When we went to report the matter, the manager of the SLS didn’t even bother to come speak to us regarding the incident. Horrible, 0 stars.

Beautiful resort. I would say SLS rooms need upgrading. Have stayed at many all inclusive and all looked much better in terms of layout and space. Baha Bay Water park was our favorite part, our toddler enjoyed it the most. Food options were good too, though highly overpriced. Customer service was not exceptional. Overall, nice resort and plenty to do but given how expensive everything is, would not be our first choice when booking a vacation.

Very convenient property. Lovely beach right in front that you can swim and snorkel at. Very safe for children. Large water park is free next-door and family friendly. Tons of food options from upscale restaurants to take out pizza. Two Starbucks on either side of the casino. You can treat it like a party place or easily find places of solitude and rest some fixtures in the bathrooms, etc. could use a little updating, but the staff were fantastic and the property was meticulously kept clean outdoors and in. Be prepared to pay higher prices for food than in North America. A number of guest seemed surprised and stressed by the expense.

I'm not saying this is the worlds most amazing vacation spot. It makes vacationing for a few days an easy great time. Don't get me wrong, everything is overpriced, rooms are nothing spectacular (tiny standing balcony, clear-glass door to toilet room, very basic amenities. We are picky but will probably come back, it's just so easy, fun, clean and safe. Baha Mar property is pretty big with LOTS of food options, waterpark never too busy and lots of fun, white sandy beech, friendly staff and the list goes on.

This is paradise BUT please be aware you are paying the price! Nothing at Baha mar is cheap. One drink is $20 and one meal is $50 and up. However, I believe it’s worth it! The food is amazing the hotel offer so many options and experiences. It’s beautiful.

We have stayed here every year since 2018 and this year was the Terrible. The service was absolutely terrible in every restaurant, probably because of the Autograt that’s on every bill. We will not be coming back, which is sad!!
