3 Nights in Goreme

Kelebek turned out to be a great choice of hotel for visiting Goreme. From the moment we arrived the staff, especially Yousef, were really helpful and attentive. We received a room upgrade on arrival and the views from the room’s terrace and all around the property are great. We stayed in a classic cave room, which was fun. A standout feature was breakfast, with one of the best selections and taste I’ve seen in a hotel in a long time. The hotel also organized airport transfer, a tour (Green tour), and a hot air balloon ride, all of which were well organized and with great guides and operators. If anyone is after being in the middle of the action and wants to be well looked after, head to Kelebek hotel.

Use the $10 airport transfer. Goreme is small so even if the bus is full, it goes by quick.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in this idyllic spot and it was beyond our expectations. We were after somewhere quiet and full of history which is what we got and more. We went in February and the weather was cold but our room had a wood burner and the heating was on and we could always control the thermostat. Our room was spacious, clean and luxurious. The staff at the hotel were very attentive. The breakfast was incredible- it was more of a brunch as it had a huge variety of food from savoury to sweet to ordering eggs and omelettes. Afternoon tea was also a surprise with coffee, tea and pastries/cakes on offer. We ate at the restaurant there and the food was fresh and homemade. We also ate at local eateries, all within walking distance from the hotel so the location (although up a hill as are most in this area). The hot air balloon ride with Discovery balloons was excellent- very professional. We both had the Turkish Spa Package 2- wow! What an experience! The massage was professional, clean, relaxing and so much more than your typical spa as you felt so pampered. Sauna, face masks, hammam bath, massage- the works and every bit was excellent. The hotel organised a tour for us to the Derinkuyu caves and the Goreme Open Air Museum which we thoroughly enjoyed- our guide Okan was fantastic as was our driver. We really had a fantastic time- all booked through Expedia, very easy and worth every penny. Thank-you for an unforgettable holiday. S & D

They went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. I am so grateful for the early check-in and late check-out, which gave me extra time to enjoy my trip. We enjoyed our stay at Kelebek, the staff was very friendly, helpful and truly depicting the Turkish hospitality. Gizem, Kadir and Yousef, applaud to all who helped out with sick family member and assisting with late night service and calling medical services to the room. We enjoyed the variety of Turkish breakfast, Turkish Hamman spa experience and our beautiful cave cabin. The hotel staff arranged rides to the town, all activities and even helped us extend the stay. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable at all times. We’ll surely be back and recommend our friends visiting Kapadokya to stay at Kelebek.

Was just perfect , everyone was super helpful, I travel with my daughter and we felt safe at all times , they hotel staff were always looking to make your stay pleasant, their breakfast was delicious ,the rooms were super comfortable and clean, the views of the terraces and restaurants were amazing. They can arrange every tour, and to pick you up from the airport and take you back , was a 7 starts service. We couldn’t ask for better
