What a fabulous hotel. Attention to detail and a perfect blend of historical beauty with modern comforts made the stay wonderful. Besides the perfect location, the incredibly warm and helpful staff was the powdered sugar on the beignet!

Super clean

Shockingly clean- bathroom, bedroom, everything. It’s hard to find a hotel that don’t gross you out at least a little. This place is impressive. They being said- bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and DEFINITELY soap. Staff is great

This was the second time that we stayed at the Bienville House, and we will stay there again. The staff was very friendly, our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and beautiful. We actually had two rooms, both rooms were excellent- but the second room’s air conditioning did not work, the staff did offer to move us to a room at their sister hotel, but we chose to stay with our group so we were given box fans for the room. New Orleans in July is hot. Over all it was a great time.

A beautiful property however our stay was totally ruined by the AC in our room which would not cool. It was 74 when we got home from dinner, and would not cool off. Needless to say it was a terrible night. Yes, we informed the front desk, who then said, sorry, it’s central AC 🙄

The hotel is really cute and is in a great location, walking distance to the French Quarter. We were allowed to arrive early and vallet our vehicles and store our luggage prior to check in time. Front deck staff could be a little more approachable, however over all it was a great place to stay and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to New Orleans

We had a great stay! The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The cocktail bar was a real highlight, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to all the French Quarter attractions and easy access to ride-shares. Would definitely stay again!

They wouldn’t give me a refund for one night. We left a day early due to a severe tropical storm. Flooding was predicted and we were advised to take caution. We didn’t feel safe and wanted to go more inland. Be careful booking with this hotel. Especially when there is bad weather. I think it’s disgusting that we spent over 500$ here and we couldn’t get anything back for just one night. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Stayed for 3 nights for a 21st birthday trip. Loved the location and its easy access to the quarter shops and restaurants. The property is a lovely historical building with a Tiki bar off of the lobby. We really enjoyed cooling off after a long day in the courtyard pool. We loved staying here and we will definitely come back again.

We loved the location. We loved the helpfulness of the staff. Shopping/dining are nearby. Great value. Only issue- the restaurant that is connected to the hotel was not open most of the time. Closed Wed normally then closed on Thurs due to weather no rain. No breakfast at the hotel( but plenty of places nearby) When we asked, we were told that it is not owned by the hotel and they set their own hours.
