The noise level of the staff at 5 am. Even after we pointed it out it continued. I think I know all their names as they were yelling at each other in the hallway these were not guests. Banging metal hotel cards loaded with glasses. Surly demeanor of the staff with the exception of the breakfast area and concierge.

Although my husband needed to cover the window for real darkness in the room and the door between the 2 rooms not well isolated( we could hear pretty much everything from the convi to the snoring the guy next room was snoring very loudly) the room was beautiful and the view on the pool was nice. It was a cold weekend (even for us, canadians) so we didn't get the chance to try their heated pool. Our room was cleaned everyday, bed done, towels changed(usefull with the type of room we got), new water bottles and coffee. The staff were all nice. The valet guys were all gents. Truly a beautiful hotel well runned!

The entire experience at Bourbon Orleans was amazing, from the second we checked in until they brought us our car to leave. The staff was amazing, helpful, and so friendly. The room was gorgeous and it was such a treat to relax on the balcony and watch the parade and chaos of Bourbon street from afar. I’ve stayed at many hotels in NO, but this was, hands down, my absolute favorite. It’s among the best stays I’ve had anywhere, and I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!!!

Location was perfect and service was great with the super friendly staff. Room is a little small, but that’s expected in a vintage building. The room was clean with daily room service. Only gripe is the shutters were kind of broken, but simply putting your bags in front of them helped a bit. Would definitely stay again though.

The water in the shower never got warm even if we left it on for 30 minutes. We tried to request a late check out the night prior to our departure & we’re told to call the front desk the next day. We tried but our phone did not work. When trying to check out I expressed my concerns to the agent but she didn’t seem to care. I didn’t even receive an apology. Today is my husband’s birthday and we don’t fly out of Nola until 7:30. It would have been nice to be able to stay in the room longer to relax before we headed back home. We usually love the Bourbon Orleans. Unfortunately our experience this stay was very poor quality.

Hotel itself is pretty and the staff are okay - the bell boys were top notch. Hotel is in a great location. Food is also good but my issues were with noise levels and cleanliness. Our room on the 1st floor was way too loud. They need to invest in better soundproofing on the 1st floor or not have any guest rooms on that fllor. We could barely sleep for the 2 nights between the music playing until the early hours of the morning and the drunk people talking loudly outside our door. I get it that we were in the French quarter but for the price we paid, we expected better sleep. Dead cokroach in our bedroom. Restaurant charged for tea my sister never ended up getting - they did refund her the following day. Staff did not follow up with us when they said they would - I had asked about taking photos at the hotel and front desk staff said they would ask management and call our room - that never happened even after I followed up. Just many little things that made for a below average stay.

Amenities are great, and the hotel has a very boutique and upscale feel to it. Location is perfect if you want to walk around the French Quarter. Very close to Bourbon Street. One of the bars borders it. The hotel was clean, the double queen room was large, and the staff was nice (and efficient). Wish we could have stayed longer.

The staff was so friendly, starting from the valet to the bartenders. The valet told us about a parade last night that we didn’t know about! The service at the bar at the back of the building with the live music was slow, but those bartenders were also friendly once they noticed we were standing there waiting to order. Phillip was fantastic at the bar near the lobby! His drinks were delicious, and he even remembered my name when I went back to order another round and pay my tab.

This was the 11th time I have stayed at the Bourbon Orleans. Room was shabby, furniture in disrepair, sink was leaking. No longer has that old European charm.
