Wonderful hotel right on Bourbon street. Morning staff at cafe need to pick up their pace, way to slow especially with only three groups in the dining area. Bout had it with pet friendly hotels. Dogs barked when owners weren’t in the room, no matter how late. Would I stay there again, yes it was a nice place and most of the staff were top notch.

We had a very nice stay at the Bourbon Orleans. Check in was confusing but overall it was a very nice stay. The bed was very, VERY comfortable for us with nice fluffy pillows. We had an upgraded room due to sold out petite king rooms. The room was spacious, updated and the usual amenities. Now the seating and mirror on the wall could be hugely improved. The seating is too minimal, 2 little stools and a tiny table we're basically useless. The mirror is placed too close to the main door entry area, needs to be moved over about a foot so when you're getting ready your not constantly in each other's way. Now as for the noise level, I thought it would be fairly quite as we were on the end and on the 5th floor. That was not true, you can hear everything happening in the hallway, doors slamming all the way down the hall can be heard. The ding of the elevator doors can be heard. There is a gap at the bottom of the door so one can actually conversations. But after bed time it was usually quiet. We had an interior room looking out onto the pool, that was lovely. No balcony. The staff were very nice and helpful and I would recommend the hotel to friends and we would come back.

Before diving into the details of our stay, I have to first highlight the exceptional customer service at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely committed to making our visit memorable. Whether it was a simple greeting or going out of their way to assist us, we truly felt seen and appreciated. Special shoutouts to Jussie at check-in, Roxanne in housekeeping, and everyone in between—you all made a lasting impression! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s clear that great care is taken in maintaining even the smallest details, creating a welcoming and elegant atmosphere throughout the property. We wanted to stay in the heart of the French Quarter, and this location was perfect—steps from Bourbon Street on one end and Jackson Square on the other. Despite being so close to the action, our room was surprisingly quiet, and we slept peacefully every night. One of our favorite ways to end the evening was at the hotel bar, enjoying a cocktail and listening to live music. It was the perfect way to unwind. Thanks to the hotel’s central location, we were able to explore a bit, come back to rest, and head out again with ease. It gave us the best of both worlds—soaking in the energy of New Orleans while enjoying the comfort and charm of our accommodations. We’re already planning a return trip and will definitely stay at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel again. Highly recommended!

Rude Desk Clerk

Unfriendly, angry desk clerk who tried to speak to us in a condescending tone. Unfortunate because I really enjoy the hotel and have stayed here regularly anytime I’m in the city. Silly that a desk clerk would talk to patrons in such a manner, but maybe that’s why she’s still a desk clerk at the age of 50.

We stayed for three nights, and honestly, it wasn’t a great experience. Expedia listed free internet, but the hotel charged us $20 a day for a “resort fee” that covered internet and two K-Cup coffees we didn’t even touch. The room was okay, but one of the nightstands had a sticky stain, like someone spilled a drink and no one bothered to clean it. Not something you want to see when you’re settling in. Hot water was a real problem. We only had it once during our entire stay. Every other shower was cold, which got old fast. Valet parking cost $56 per night and was slow every time. It took 20 to 30 minutes to get our car, even when it wasn’t busy.
