When I select a hotel, I try to find one that : is near public transportation, has a microwave and refrigerator, has free breakfast, is near a convenience store. This hotel fits all my criteria. It's two blocks from the Canal St trolley which will take you to the casino,shops,restaurants, and the waterfront. There is also a bus that runs down Rampart St. A convenience store was a block away. I stayed in room 309. It was decent and clean. There was a walk in shower, microwave ,dishes, full size refrigerator ,and two electric burners. Breakfast was decent,although they basically had the same thing all three days of my stay. Staff was nice. Bourbon Street was about 4 blocks away. There was a nice seafood restaurant 2 blocks away on Iberville. There's a theater a block away that advertised that The Wiz and Hell's Kitchen would be premiering there soon. I didn't realize that The Mardi Gras Museum was directly across the street until hours before my flight home! I did see a few homeless folks a block away, but I didn't feel threatened. I traveled alone and I don't walk around at night. All in all I had a pleasant stay, and I would stay there again.

Laundromat machines are not working, after I purchase money on a card to do Laundry and went to store to buy detergent, after taking to staff I discover that they have been broken for some times, when I ask when will they be fixed, no one knows, I ask to speak to the GM and left a voice message but they would not return the call, I would not stay here again.

This will be our new go to hotel for visits to New Orleans. Location is perfect, easy walk across Rampart to the French Quarter. The street car (when it's in service) runs right past the hotel so it's easy to get anywhere in the city. Room was great and the hotel overall was very well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered way more than I was expecting. Buffet style with rotating food every day. They also host a social gathering in the lobby area with free beer and wine on Wednesdays. Overall, perfect stay and could not ask for much more, particularly at the price point. I feel like it's an absolute steal.

The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The concierge helped us book a swamp tour and front desk got us a cab. Breakfast was fabulous. Lots of choices (hot and cold) and tasted so good! The hotel is in a great location. We loved the ease of getting around town by walking or taking the trolley. The pool was small but good enough to refresh after a long day. A little dirty from debris on the ground (dirt, leaves, etc) and cold but a nice option. We didn't use the exercise room but it looked nice. I love the safety measures in place such as needing your key card to enter the hotel at night. The hotel was quiet and we slept great.

Stayed for one night. Hotel lobby is extra small. Breakfast is ok. Hotel layout is weird, very long hallways.The bathroom needs updating and is super smal. Only had one glass in the kichen cabinet. Inadequate parking.
