It was just what we needed. Quiet & clean with a nice courtyard, yet very conveniently located. You can walk to anywhere. Close to the public transportation as well. We had an amazing stay at this place. You can wake up early & walk to cafes, restaurants & jazz places.

Perfect stay

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a hotel. It was perfect for what we needed. Close to everything that was happening. Great restaurants and other amenities. If we didn't think we could walk the distance for what we were looking for, it was very easy to get pedal cabs or Ubers. But in reality, it was within walking distance of most most things that we wanted to visit. If you are staying at the Inn on St. Peter and need a room that really makes you feel at home. Try to get room number 20. Thanks again.

The Inn on St. Peter was a great and affordable hotel. The suite we stayed in was very accommodating for my wife, son and I. The fold out bed was a queen size bed the mattress was a newer mattress. Looked like it was never used.

The location of the hotel is great and made walking around the french quarter very easy. The character of the hotel was perfect as well. It was so nice to have a veranda to sit on and enjoy a drink while watching and hearing the activities around us. Big downside though was there wasn't a fridge in our room, nor was one available when requested. That made it impossible to store leftovers from the many excellent restaurants so we could snack on them. Also, there weren't always front desk staff. While i didnt need them very often, it would have been helpful if they were there. The daybi checked out, I spoke to the attendant at the counter, explaining i was checking out shortly and needed a taxi once i grabbed my last bag from my room. When i returned to the desk 3 ir 4 minutes later, he had disappeared and there wasn't anyone in the building. I walked into every room looking for a staff member and there wasn't anyone around. Fortunately i was able to arrange a ride and just left my key cards on the desk.

The first night was a fiasco. I had pre-booked a 2-bedroom suite and they put us in a standard room. No elevators so we had to carry our heavy luggage up the set of long stairs just to get to the wrong room and have to go back to the front desk. Then we were told our original room was given to someone else thay was arriving the next day, so they couldn't give it to us. Long story short, after explaining over and over that the room was prepaid and the doublebooking was not my fault, they let us go to the correct room but said it would only be for the one night. They then stated they'd refund me one night for the trouble... but that never happened. Thankfully, the next day when i followed up with the hotel, they said we didnt have to leave our room. But our keys kept being disabled daily during our stay, and we had to get them reactivated every day. Otherwise, the room was fine and the staff that helped us every day besides the first night were very nice.
