Our room looked nothing like the pictures online. The floor was extremely dirty and so was the shower curtain. But the worst part was the front door to the room, which opened up to outside, did not lock correctly. We felt extremely unsafe and left the next morning.

The staff were excellent, super welcoming and helpful. We spent a weekend mainly walking around the French Quarter, and the location was convenient for that. We were comfortable in our room. The street usually felt pretty safe, at the times of day/night when other people were also walking around. We did not eat at their cafe, but there were lots of other great options in a short walking distance.
