I called for room service and the person answering the phone asked me to hold because they had a guest come in. But didnt return to the call. The cost of parking is ridiculously high for guests. Wont be back

Everyone was so nice!!! The bartender rocked it but needed help especially during Mardi Gras. We had a room with a real window but the room was still really dark. Lighting in the room would make it a hotel I would stay in every year.

The Eliza Jane is the best hotel in New Orleans, we have stayed at a lot of the hotels but after we stayed at the Eliza Jane 6 years ago, we do not stay anywhere else. The staff are amazing and the rooms are wonderful.

This was our second stay at the property. The first was excellent, the second was close to a holiday and the hotel was very noisy due to live music and it likely being heavily booked.

When we arrived at 4 pm, we were told there were a lot of check outs so our room wasn’t ready yet. We said okay and went to find something to do while we waited, 6pm rolls around and still no call that the room is ready. We go back to the hotel to check and are told that the reservation came through as an interior room on their end, not the suite we had booked and paid for and had confirmation of. We were told there are no suites now. The entire reason we booked this hotel was to enjoy the beautiful suite. I had done weeks of research to choose this hotel. We ended up having to cancel our room and find a different hotel in the area, as we had already paid for 12 hours of parking at the next door lot. A huge disappointment and let down

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The suite we had was HUGE. My 3 friends and I stayed in a 2 queen bed suite that was decorated so impeccably and my 3rd friend had her own bed via the pullout couch. It had a bar, it had a walkway, it had a HUGE tub I was able to soak on. It had 2 showers. It had a desk area I used as a vanity. I wanted to literally live there forever. I LOVE this place. The staff was amazing. The valets were a bit lackadaisical but thats all. I LOVED this hotel. I wanna stay again every year for my birthday.

I love the hotel, the ambiance, the welcoming of the hotel staff including bartenders. The hotel is a beautiful piece of art however what put a bad taste in my mouth was waking up to over $500 worth of charges to my card with no helpful explanation. I wasn’t made aware that they were taking a “destination fee”. I was only told I had to pay 150 incidental fee and then they took a destination fee but overcharged me for it and took that twice as well as 353.27 which are still pending in my account. Destination fee was 99.00 they took 236.27 twice.

The hotel itself was fine, but there were several issues. A $30 per day resort fee was charged and not disclosed in advance, and it provided no additional services. Valet parking charged $60 but never delivered my truck, claiming they were short-staffed. I was told to walk two blocks to a public parking lot, which I did while carrying my bags. I called the hotel three times and was told a one-day credit would be issued, but it still hasn’t happened.

We were there a wedding. Our room wasn’t available until later that evening after 5pm. It was so hot in the hotel and our room. Room had very little water pressure. We will not stay here again.
