We spent 8 nights at The Olivier House and enjoyed staying in a space that reminded us of New Orleans' history. We did not want a "cookie cutter" room found in chain hotels, so the Petite Loft suite was perfect. The furniture was vintage/antique, we had a small balcony, a microwave, small refrigerator and sitting area. A bonus was fresh coffee, pastries and oranges available in the downstairs parlor. The location was perfect as we could easily walk throughout the French Quarter, to the French Market, Jackson Square, Canal Street. The building is over 200 years old and charmingly shows some "wear". To us, that fit right in with our absorbing the history of New Orleans.

I can not say enough good things about this property. Absolutely perfect NOLA vibe. Every room is different, the property is very well maintained & decorated. Right in the middle of everything in The Quarter but with a very homey feel.. in the rooms, in the common areas, and from the staff. It is family-run, and everyone was phenomenal! Truly, the most kind, accommodating, lovely people. We ended up getting married on the balcony on the 4th floor, and it was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to come stay here again!

Room was beautiful. Excellent stay. Would highly recommend this to anyoneone staying in New Orleans. This was during Madri Gras (only about a block away from Burbon St.). Very fun. My wife has to use a wheelchair. While it has numerous stairs and steps to naviagte, it was still way worth it. Very cool place. Very New Orleans!
