Loved the hotel. Its got soo much history for me. My grandfather worked for NOSPI years ago. I was soo excited to stay. The hotel its is amazing and beautiful. Unfortunately the hall way to our room smelled like dirty, stinky,rotten dish water. And the hot water and the pressure was little to none in the shower. I would love to stay there again and give it another try. We were there for an event. The event space is beautiful.

Carpet needed to be replaced. I think they should tidy up the room everyday even if they don’t change the sheets. They should also replace towels if needed. Place where you swipe card was missing the plastic cover. My room was level with the top of parking deck with bright lights shining directly through windows all night. Staff friendly and professional. Nice vibe in the lobby. Still waiting for bill.

I had an amazing stay at the Nopsi. We were 8 people and ended up having to stay 3 extra nights because of the snowstorm that hit New Orleans. The staff was so helpful and accommodating through all our issues, and I would only choose this hotel when I return.

We were here during a huge snowstorm. So there was very little staff and very few amenities for those of us trapped in the hotel. It would’ve been nice if there were some courtesies shown to us when we were trapped as we were the food is terrible the staff overworked The staff not happy. Our room was only attended to once in the five days we were there. The hotel was obviously totally unprepared for this event, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t think outside of the box and react quickly. We were denied the room up grade Until we were there for five days only got one glass of wine per person. In future I’ll book 5 separate days. At least it’s something in return for the high price we paid for the room.

The hotel desperately needs some updating and attention to cleanliness. I was afraid to put my bare feet on the floor in the room and wasn’t really certain it had been cleaned recently. The carpet was dirty. While the hotel staff was lovely the room itself was horrible. I requested a refund after being in the room less than an hour and the opportunity to rebook a room somewhere else, but the manager on duty denied this request. Hotel cleanliness is critical. I would not recommend staying here. Find another place.

The hotel was beautiful and staff very friendly. There was a problem with the hot water on the 2nd day of my stay and I was told it would be fix by the afternoon, It wasn't. On the 3rd day no hot water maintenance came to fix it but couldn't. He said they may need to change my room. I gave them time to work on that but nothing happened. I came back from breakfast and shopping no one had come to clean nor did anyone contact me about the hot water issue. I decided to check out early and I was told I'll be refund for the last night but now I see an additional charge on my card.

I booked a city view. When I arrived they said there are no views of the city. That Expedias room description is incorrect. I had to wait 3 hrs for check in. Just for them to give me a room that was not mine. & cancel it.

Birthday trip

I stayed here for my birthday trip and the hotel was everything! Sean & Dex checked me in and since my check in through my checked out every time I came past the desk the hospitality was amazing! Gave me some great food recommendations. My best part was the live DJ and band even down to the bartender knowing my order! I will definitely come back and stay here again! The only down side was the hot water went out one day of our stay but that wasn’t enough to make me unpleasant with my stay!
