We arrived at the hotel to find our reservation had been canceled due to overbooking. Hotels . Com has now failed the last 2 times i have used it. They have also canceled my next trip for some reason. This company sucks!!!!!!

The worst possible customer service. They do not have check-in after 10.00PM as there is no one at the reception. This is not mentioned anywhere, it only states check-in after 3.00PM. When I arrived to check in at 1.30 am, there was no one available at the Front desk and a note was put up that we will come back at 6.00 am. I was never informed either by Oyo or expedia that there is no check-in after a certain time. I called Oyo multiple times and they said they have escalated and I should hear back in 24-48 hours. The receptionist arrived at 7 instead of 6 and told me that she has cancelled my reservation due to no show and that I should expect a refund from Expedia. I had to book another reservation directly with Oyo for a higher amount and I still haven't received my refund or a single email from the Oyo team even after more than 10 calls. I still haven't received a refund from Expedia either at the time of writing. The property is bang average at best.

When we got there at 4pm my reserve room are not available, have to wait 1hour. then supposedly no smoking but when we went in the room smells like weeds, bath tub clogged you have to wait for a while for the water to go down.

When I got to the motel, I was told that Expedia overbooked rooms and they have no room available for me. When asked about refund, a guy at the front desk explained that OYO has nothing to do with that and I have contact Expedia. Seriously? Was it so hard to give me a call or email about cancelation so that after 5 hrs flight in the middle of the night I wouldn't need to look for a place to stay.

When we arrived we were told that there was a problem with overbooking and that there was not a room available for us. The desk clerk was surly, indifferent and unwilling to help us find a room. I will NEVER, EVER stay at that brand of hotel again and will tell everyone I know to stay away from them.Also I will use another website to book my next room. I demand a full refund plus extra funds for the distress and hassle of finding a room at the last minute, on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.

Inn at Lake Washington canceled our reservation without contacting us because they were overbooked! We arrived from out of town with surgery scheduled in the morning and no place to stay. Needless to say, we were very angry. It’s Memorial Day weekend and eventually found another more expensive place to stay the night.

Turned away at check in because they “horribly over booked” and they “turned away everybody who chose the pay upon arrival option” … they had my card on file and could have easily charged me in full if I hadn’t shown up. And when I arrived at 6pm (check in started at 3) I had received NO contact from them regarding their inability to uphold their end of the reservation. It’s 2025, it shouldn’t be that complicated to not overbook a hotel.
