Old, smelly, not clean, room# 318 has a window trim loose so the wind blowing in the room makes a lot of noise all night long, the walls are so thin that we can hear people snoring.. I was told we wasn’t going to be charge, to provide a card for incidentals, I was charge for a night fee, parking and 2 waters we didn’t drink, I have pictures on checkout day where the water was intact… I won’t recommend this hotel the pictures on Expedia are NOT near the way the rooms look like. Make right Expedia- I have used this site for years and I am getting disappointed

A++ The staff throughout the hotel - amazing. SO friendly and accommodating. A++ location is fantastic - right across the street from lots of shopping, right on the water, plenty of restaurants, excellent Newport location!! C - the room. The vent in the bathroom did not work. It's a TINY bathroom (think NYC small - maybe smaller) and it fogged up fast. Door was wet so my dress ended up getting wet (hung on the door). Further, the tub backed up almost immediately (not "overflowing" kind of backup, but standing in dirty water backed up). The room is very small, no overhead lighting (2 lamps). But it was comfortable. The bathroom was the big downside. Otherwise, we'd stay here again - maybe try for a larger room, if there is one.

The rooms were terrible. The faucets were broken. The entire room was dirty. Nail polish stains on the tub. The TV didn’t work. Stains on the sink. Stains on the mirrors. The beds were so old that you would fall off because they are uneven. The windows don’t shut all the way, so you can hear the wind come in. The walls are so paper thin you hear everything next door. I will not return.

The hotel was well kept and clean. We loved our harbor view. It was right next to Bowen's Wharf and right across the street from a ton of stores and restaurants. It was about a 9 minute drive from the mansions, so very close.
