I like the Riu because it had so many different things for their customers. Water aerobics, Zumba, shows, a gym, spa, etc. The all inclusive was excellent. Very good food and such a large variety to select from not to mention a free 24 hour room service. My only critique would be they need to update their gym equipment and televisions in the hotel rooms. A special mention that the beach wasl lovely.

Wow! This property was sensational! Although it is a kid friendly resort, still very much relaxing with the kids around. The people were extremely nice! This was a true vacation. I can’t go on enough but just to add to the cleanliness of this property, there was never a moment during the entire trip where I did not witness cleaning. Hats off to the entire staff. I’m a residential contractor and although the resort is under construction, it was not a hindrance at all. The amenities were plentiful! The list goes on but in short, the owners are on point!! I’m not easily impressed but this was really impressive!! AAA+ Can’t wait to return and to check out more of your locations 🍷

The resort is beautiful and clean. All employees were very welcoming, cheerful and friendly. The food was delicious, plenty and with wide range of varieties But the hallways are not decorated at all and kind of hot, the far end of the resort by the time share owners building is very noisy with trucks unloading to the Palm pier.

Hotel is very nice and staff treated you nicely. Food was great however, on one occasion on the buffet place we did see maggots on the tablecloth and I did tell an employee who said sorry and pretty much told his employees to take care of the table right away. He did take a video with his phone and I did also. In addition it’s very hard to get a spot on the other restaurants so make sure you arrive early.

The property was nice and well maintained. The property is going through renovations in one building but overall the property was cleaning and well maintained. I must admit the rooms furnishings is outdated and i see the progress the hotel is making. I will definitely stay there again when i visit Aruba.

We got to the room & the maid was still in there, door was open & the floor was so sticky/wet. I didn’t even know if the room was ready. But as the door was wide open & the maid was cleaning the floor, she was on the phone & didn’t greet us. We were very confused. The maid then sprayed something, not sure if it was meant to be on the table or the floor. I went to walk towards the bed, I slipped!!! Thank god I grabbed the bed as I slipped b/c I could have smashed my head on the floor. The floor was so wet & she didn’t even clean it! Thank god I held on the bed as I slipped! Whole event was traumatizing! After further inspection, in the room, lamps were dirty, the bed had black dots on it, Which made the bed itchy. The lamps had dust & spider webs on it. We had no power in the room. I called the front desk & they told me that you needed a card inserted by the room door that turns on the power, which no one told us. Thank god I called. The whole 24 hours that my husband & I were there the entire experience was horrible. The toilet brush next to the toilet had brown stains and it was dirty! And it was right next to the toilet in our bed. Needless to say, the whole time was very traumatizing after I slipped in the room. We would not recommend this hotel & will NOT be going back. My life is not worth slipping in the dirty bedroom. We checked out, asked for a refund & they said Expedia has to contact them. Which they did multiple times & the resort ghosted us and them. HORRIBLE!!!!

Staff were wonderful. Property is amazing! Our first room was recently renovated and was great except that we didn't have ocean view, which we paid for, and there was no elevator to our room. Our second room had a fantastic view and was larger, but not renovated. The room was large enough for more furniture to make it more comfortable. A chair and a table would have been nice.We actually wound up taking the patio chair into the room. The food was also fantastic. We enjoyed every meal. Delicious! Note to the hotel: More elevators and bathrooms are needed. Especially for the pool and the beach.

The Riu Palace? More like the “Mold” Palace…I had to look at 3 separate rooms before I could find one that didn’t smell and have clear signs of mold all over the furniture and walls. (I took photos of everything) This was absolutely appalling and we were forced to stay as we could not get a refund. This hotel is old, outdated and the rooms riddled with mold and mycotoxins. The facilities were terrible especially the fitness center, nothing works all free weights had rust all over them without any clear signs of how much they weighed due to them being so old and mismanaged. I will be sure that all my friends and family stay very far away from this establishment. It’s unfortunate as the staff especially at the restaurants were amazing.

Wonderful Stay

We upgraded our room and so glad we did. We had an amazing view and the room was very large. Everyone we interacted with on the resort was so helpful and kind. The food and service was great and the location was perfect. Close to shopping, restaurants and bars, all within a 5 minute walk. The airport is 15 mins away, best to book a roundtrip since a cab from resort to airport was $35USD. We're definitely coming back and bring more people to enjoy it with us!

By far the best Riu I’ve visited! Food Was delicious at the main dining hall. Even though they are going through renovations next door that didn’t phase us from having a good time. The pool is huge and the beach is by far the best private hotel beach. Very clean. rooms were always stocked with clean towels. My kids 5 and 14 had a blast! Can’t wait to return. Staff were very friendly and helpful when asking questions. Rooms had the best ac and balcony view. This hotel is very convenient to shopping center and local restaurants. Very safe area for family vacations.
