If you come back late there's absolutely no parking and they do not accommodate. The room beds are super uncomfortable. They do not clean daily. The worst part was the food !!! Terrible !!! Very limited options. They had frozen pizza with a lady cooking in one little toaster like over 15 pizzas wait time past an hour and pizza looked disgusting. Place needs an upgrade with dinning. No water or drinks inside of room available. I recommend staying outside of the park because the food inside Yellowstone is horrible except in old faithful snow lodging, which is better looking property.

Liked: Cleanliness
The food served at the Canyon Lodge and Cabins was HORRIBLE! I would rather go to bed hungry than to eat this food. The accommodations were fine but since you basically have to eat on the premises or drive an hour you are stuck with inedible food!
Our beds did not even have mattress cover/protector and were VERY uncomfortable. Everything here was over priced and the food wasn't great either. Would not recommend

Canyon Lodge is centrally located to the upper and lower loop drives of Yellowstone. The rooms are clean. The staff were excellent. They responded to every request I made with a courteous and professional attitude. I’d strongly recommend staying booking a room 3-6 months in advanced. Since it’s a desirable place to stay rooms get booked quickly.
The property is centrally located within the park which makes it a great starting point to visit each area. The dining options nearby are about as good as any in the park. Be aware there is no A/C at this or any other lodging within the park. We slept with the windows open. The bathroom shower was not as clean as I would have liked and the shower curtain was mildewed. Room was dark but that is part of their eco-friendly efforts.

No maid service no TV. No elevator so if you are on the 3rd floor you need to carry all your bags up and down steps. Food at the eatery places on site are awful
The park was beautiful, hotel was nice could use a little better beds, and some lamps on nightstand! Staff was shorthanded but very helpful when we asked for something
Staff was great. However the place is like camping for $500 a night.
No phone service, no internet, no TV.
Better eat early. Everything closed at 5:00.
The park was beautiful. Lots of wildlife around. The lodge was nice, friendly staff and available services. Great location to make as the resting point for touring Yellowstone.
