When we first checked in the toilet was broken. They switched us but instead of giving us our originally book 2 queen bed room they downgraded us to 2 full sized beds and we still had to pay the price of the queen beds! Since I booked on Expedia Green Granite said they couldn’t do anything. We called Expedia and waited over 20 minutes while Expedia tried calling the Green Granite Service desk to resolve the room charge but of course no one picked up at the Green Granite. In addition to having to pay more for a downgraded room, the floor in the bathroom was ripped up and obviously not vacuumed. They clean with heavy scented spray and it was SO strong it made us cough. It was not a pleasant stay and it is very disappointing that they wouldn’t fix the room rate, which wasn’t our fault. I do not recommend

The Green Granite was clean and convenient for a fair price. Enjoyed the indoor pool, although the atea could use some updates. Couldnt beat the location and it was nice to have breakfast included.

Terrible accomodations

This hotel was unkempt and in severe disrepair. Our room had exposed wires, grimy old carpet and a door with a broken chain lock. The pool was nice but there were no towels for the pool. Our room had 4 registered guests and 3 towels for showers. We didn't have enough for showers, let alone extra for the pool. The indoor pool was closed, which was one of the factors I liked when booking, in case of inclement weather. The staff were very nice, I'm sorry that they have to work somewhere where obviously the ownership doesn't believe in upkeep. It did look like one side of the facility was kept up, at least from the outside, but we were placed in an extremely run down section. Trash was piled up in the walkway and over the course of the 3 days we were there, no one took it away. We were unable to go elsewhere because everything in the area was fully booked. I was embarrassed that my family had to spend time here. I booked from out of state, based on good reviews I had read, and I felt terrible that this was part of my grandchildren's experience. I wish I thought to take photos so others could be spared from being uninformed.

Stayed for one night. The hotel room itself was very large and spacious. Unfortunately the carpet throughout the room was completely filthy and almost felt slimy under my feet. After walking around the room with freshly cleaned feet from showering, I realized the bottoms of my feet were black from whatever grime was on the carpet. I made everyone in my family walk around in their shoes from that point on. In addition, the plastic blinds in the room had whole pieces missing or broken in half. The rolling desk chair seat covering was ripped and torn, exposing a large portion of the foam seat. The only saving grace for this property is that the location is extremely convenient. They need to do a major renovation of the rooms, in my opinion. If they do, this hotel has potential. However, I doubt I will be staying here again, as it just felt really run-down and poorly maintained.

The wifi didn't work at all in the room and nowhere in the hotel. Very disappointing, as we needed the wifi. This will definitely be our last time at this place.

You get what you pay for!

Beds were okay, sheets were clean. The bathroom was a little gross, I had to ask the front desk for Lysol wipes because around the toilet it was definitely dirty. The floor is also clearly had not been cleaned. Well, our baby was crawling, and his clothes were filthy after just crawling in the hotel room. The people who worked there were all very friendly, the breakfast was fine, especially for the price, but they definitely need to hire a better cleaning crew.

Very deceived by photos of property and rooms as compared to reality. Rooms had paint peeling from doors and walls, holes behind doors. Floors and carpets were dirty - no idea if or when they were vacuumed or cleaned last - smelled bad as well. Random bugs flying around and in bathroom. Hair found in shower and in bedding. Needed to call housekeeping to have bed linens changed. They were stained with various things. Pillows were yellowed and just gross. I had made the reservation with rooms on second floor and were given bottom floor by as we were told, management’s decision - would have looked for another place to stay had I known that. Did not check out the breakfast buffet. I figured if they couldn’t clean the rooms, imagine how dirty the kitchen must be. Overall very disgusted with whole experience.

The “inn” is run down and dirty. It’s a family lodging site so it’s very busy with families and children. The bathroom was so dirty, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and the floor was ripped and dirty upon entry. Definitely not worth the price and I wish we had booked elsewhere for cheaper!

We have stayed in Ascend properties before and they were lovely. This one - not so much. It looked very rundown and several areas of the property needed upkeep. The room was dirty - crumbs and hair on the desk chair, dirt in the bathroom. I would not stay here again.

In need of renovation

One of the 2 beds was creaky and loud with the slightest movement. The coffee maker had nowhere for plugging in except the quite dirty floor or the bathroom. We chose the bathroom. The TV selection was very poor with a remote that didn't work well. One bright point was the shower- quite good.
