Beautiful Blast from the Past

Beautiful historic building in the heart of the Berkeley campus. Building shows its age and lacks a few creature comforts. No TV in guest rooms, but fast internet let us easily stream on our iPad. We will stay again, but if you go be prepared for a beautiful well run facility a few decades behind in technology and modern conveniences.

Love the architecture and history of the building. Rooms are small but adequate. There is a free medical clinic next door which can attract some sketchy people, but overall we love staying here.

Historic charm..

The place is beautiful and the customer service was stellar. The only issue I had was the room size. Literally a bedroom and bathroom. However, it was very nice and comfortable.
