The nearest places to spend the night in Matsumoto include Chino and Suwa. Chino is 19 kilometres to the east of Okaya, while Suwa is 8 kilometres to the southeast of Okaya. Before you say goodbye to Matsumoto, make sure you catch a local game. Find Nagano Olympic Stadium to the north of Okaya. The Hotel Route-Inn Court Shinonoi and the Shinshu-Matsushiro Royal Hotel are both good options if you hope to really get into your sport.
