Over priced

As expensive as this place is I was expecting a better experience. At 4pm on a Friday tile workers were still wet cutting tile outside the front door and hauling boxes of tile inside the lobby. I was put on the first floor and sound of overhead footsteps and banging on the walls next door were as loud as any cheap hotels I've stayed at. I could even hear urinating in the toilet above mine.

When we entered our room, there was a funky stagnant smell that had a hint of sewer. Almost like that room hadn’t been used awhile. When we pulled our sheets back, there was long hair all over the bed so we ended up getting new bedding. We should have asked for a new room, because every time we entered our room over the weekend, it had that weird smell.

Hampton Inn is always a safe choice no matter where in the US you are. The bed was comfy and everything worked in our room! Nice to have a mini fridge and microwave.

Well done

We had a great stay. Staff was very accommodating if and when we needed extra towels or trash bags. Breakfast was really good and a handful of options. I thought also, it was a great location and not a far drive from any of the entertainment areas we wanted to go.

Hmmmmmmm

I will start with the good things …. Breakfast was great, wonderful variety and flavor. The water pressure in the shower was very nice, and I appreciated that they carried Zero for their shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion, which is a safer choice, however, the refrigerator goes on and off as if it is on a controlled timer. Our ice packs for our medicine bag all melted. The room was filled with chemicals from cleaners that would not air out though we left our door open for hours before we went to sleep my husband and I both had headaches and we left as early as possible in the morning to try to alleviate that. 6:30 am to top it off I had to insist on a receipt to show we were all cleared out as the clerk didn’t want to give us one More stress than we needed to be honest
