The room was updated and overall nice, but it was on a pet floor since we had pets with us, and it smelled like animal urine. We arrived late and had a cross country journey so we just toughed it out, luckily the window opened slightly to allow some fresh air in. Overall though, besides the room smell (my parents also had a room there and theirs had no odor) the hotel was fairly nice. The one elevator that was near our rooms did not work, which did make it more difficult for my physically disabled father to reach the working elevator. The pet fees were more expensive at this hotel than others along our trip, which made it a little more disappointing that we paid so much for a room that didn't feel fully clean.

The first night was fine, but on the second night I found bed bugs in my room. I was moved to another room where I discovered rat droppings on the pillow. There was no manager on duty, and I was only offered another room, which I declined because I no longer felt safe. Despite providing photo evidence, the hotel claimed there were “no rats” and refunded just one night. This was an extremely unsanitary and stressful experience. Management showed no accountability. I do not recommend staying here.

When we first arrived, check-in was quick and the lady at the front desk was very friendly, but that’s where the good experience ended. After going out for food, we came back and my daughter wanted to swim. When she asked for pool towels, the woman at the desk was rude and handed her very small towels. The pool area itself was in awful shape — dirty water full of leaves, no chlorine running, and only a couple of jets in the hot tub worked. The concrete looked poorly patched and neglected. Later that night we tried to pull out the sofa bed for my daughter, but it had no sheets, was ripped, and covered in stains. It was so bad she ended up sleeping in our bed. The in-room TV was tiny and outdated, especially for what we paid. We expected better quality for the higher price. Breakfast offered more variety than some motels, but the food wasn’t good and didn’t make up for everything else. When we checked out and mentioned the issues to the manager, he didn’t seem to care at all — like he already knew and didn’t plan to fix it. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment. Between the dirty pool, broken sofa bed, and poor management, it’s not worth the money. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone until they make serious improvements.
