This is not the place to stay if you have kids or if you expect a modicum of customer service. Little to no accommodations made for them, they’re catering to seniors at this resort. Lots of rules that don’t make sense. You can use the pool but you can’t exchange your towels at that pool even though they have towels you have to walk another quarter mile. The front desk operates like it’s out of the last century no self checkout. No business center, no concierge — yes there’s a concierge but only to make reservations for the all inclusive hotel restaurants. Don’t ask staff where anything is they don’t know, so untrained and not helpful. Let’s not even talk about the disaster of the breakfast and lunch buffets. If there’s only four of you and ur sitting at the six top table because there’s no four tops left expect to be chastised by the staff. Overall whomever runs this place is more than likely a staff who grew up in the ranks and has never worked in a true hospitality org or has had any exposure to a modern resort experience. a lot of money for lots of restrictions, disengaged staff and backwards policies.

We had a fantastic time travelling with our 2 children (both under 8). The food was great and they had kid friendly choices with almost every dining option. We loved the water and ice filling stations and the drinks were great. Beaches were the most beautiful we've seen. Only 2 small complaints - bathrooms were not always near by - which with younger kids was a bit tricky. Smoking on the beaches and people leaving their cigarette butts in the sand. Where were live, smoking in public parks etc, is not allowed.... so being on the beaches near people smoking is just not something we are used to. Apart from this, the beaches were very clean and there were places o put trash, etc.

Staff was very friendly especially the bartenders. Clean and neat and felt very safe at all times. Restaurants were great with quite a variety of foods. The servers were very professional and courteous. We will be going again.

did not care for new restaurant cafe margo.they replaced there "nite bar " with a kiddy pool and cafe margot. not a good choice.the other restaurants staff are GREAT red parrot Ricky was great .the staff at the breakfast and lunch at tamarijn.are fun and most helpfull .To many to name this was are 6th time here and will be back soon

Before I went to the Tamarijn, I read the reviews, some of the reviews wasn’t nice, I was very nervous about it, good thing it was the opposite for us, we had a such a good time, place was clean, everyone so nice and safe. I would recommend it in a heartbeat!! We will go back as soon as we can.

It was our first visit to Aruba, I went with my children. It was a good experience, however the sliding door in the bathroom wouldn’t close and tiles in the shower needed a good scrubbing and cleaning, food was okay but not too many options for restaurants, it didn’t help that you have to make reservations for dining, seating capacity is limited and if you just randomly decide to get up and walk into a restaurant on the resort, you could be turned away for not having reservations. Staff wasn’t very friendly or accommodating, front desk or concierge rarely ever pick up calls, sometimes they pick up and hang up on you. Honestly only staff member that was absolutely wonderful, accommodating and went above and beyond was hostess at club margot, (glasses & braces) that girl deserves a big fat raise for being so wonderful. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but definitely not the best.

I won’t be returning. The options were extremely minimal for the price. The service by several of the staff was lacking. The only good thing is the property is located on the beach; however you can have a better stay at a different resort and still have access to the beach.

Tam is an oasis away from home!

Beautiful resort! awesome oceanfront views from all rooms. The food was amazing with views of ocean! Cocktails on point with so many choices! Staff is super friendly. Only thing I would change is the bed! The mattress was hard as a rock! They need to upgrade them! Ask for 2 bed toppers to add some cushion.

Would have given 5⭐but a few improvements needed. This was our 2nd stay at Tamarijn and we noticed some changes from our last visit. We absolutely LOVE Aruba, the people and beautiful culture of this island Adolfo our server was amazing! However, there was not as much staff or attentive staff as our last visit. We called the front desk several times to report a clogged sink and non functioning coffee maker in our room. No one ever answered the phone and we had to walk to the lobby to let them know of our issue. Even then it was never addressed the entire stay. The maintenance and housekeeping staff seemed overworked. There were bits of trash in the sand outside our room and grounds staff were observed using blowers to push the bits of floor debris from the rooms under the bushes outdoors. The maintenance used hoses to clean the exterior door and flooded the interior of our room, causing us to slip on entering in the evening. Upon our departure we made the front desk aware of our experience and hope this information is shared with management to keep improving this beautiful resort. We look forward to our next visit.
