Friendly service

Very comfortable hotel. Staff very helpful, organised a taxi for us in the morning and a late dinner, all with a smile. The hotel is a bit far from the terminal but a good alternative if nothing closer is available at a fair price.

The hotel is fine. Good price. Clean, modern rooms. Reception desk staff are not friendly. Not exactly rude (I would describe the one front desk guy as “curt”), but not friendly at all. Restaurant was decent and the cold breakfast available at 4:00 a.m. (hot breakfast available later) had a good selection. Beware that the “Guest Parking” is not free. I missed this - totally my fault and if I could read Norwegian I probably would not have missed it. I think the hotel could make this more obvious to those who don’t speak or read Norwegian.

This hotel is convenient for overnight stays close to the airport without any jet noise. I was surprised that you had to pay for the airport shuttle. In the US it is complimentary.

I stayed by the airport for my visit to Oslo as hotels there are as much as half the cost of central Oslo. Transportation by bus and train to and from the centre of the city takes a about 35 minutes. The hotel includes breakfast so this is a bonus. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and accommodating.

My wallet was missing. The man at the front desk was kind enough to call the number of the only place I had stopped which was in Hokksund. The wallet was there and we drove back to get it. No words to express my appreciation since i didnt understand the answering machine.
