Good solo option

Clean, efficient and all i needed as a solo traveller. The hotel is designed for being small rooms so it can be cheaper. The room still had everything needed.

As long as someone stays in their own in the mini double, it's fine for this hotel. This is not made explicit. There are no guidelines for the luggage room, either. The staff was rude and unreasonable.

As long as someone stays on their own in the mini double, it's fine for the hotel. This is not made explicit anywhere. Moreover, no one notifies you about how long one can leave their luggage in the luggage room.

All my stays at that hotel were fine - as long as I was staying at the hotel on my own. The last booking was cancelled by the hotel for inexplicable reasons: for instance, something to do with the overuse of their luggage room that no one notified me about.

OK

The breakfast is nasty, do NOT pay for it! Go outside in the coffee shops around the hotel and get a cheaper, nicer breakfast. Not great service, under the pretext of being "smart", everything is done via computer and the reception staff is lazy and unhelpful. Otherwise, clean and fairly new inside the room.

The rooms are quite small, for people with large suitcases. Other than that, they are minimal, which is good for creatives. I don't know what the leafy decor with the led lights is about; that could be improved.

Very close to the Christmas market and in a very good location. A lot of public transport options near by. When they say the rooms are small, they are very small but for when you’re out exploring Oslo all day, you don’t need anything bigger. The TV had a chrome cast so having no English channels wasn’t a problem. One thing we noticed was that you had to tap your key to lock your door on the way out or you’ll be leaving it unlocked for the world.

Extremely minimal. No where to put your belongings, no where to get ready, zero amenities. Just way too small for 2 people and was not all that much cheaper than a regular hotel. Two good things about were the location (very close to Karl Johan Gate) and very quiet.

The only thing I still don't like is the protruding drawer under the bed, which you can easily scrape your legs on if you don't bear it in mind when you get out of bed. It would also have been nice to have a breakfast option other than 'full breakfast' - such as a roll and coffee.
