The chef is extraordinarily brilliant!!! The chef makes the Hotel extraordinary. The chef's curries are exquisite. The chef's black pudding is to die for! Exquisite food.

The hotel was set in very peaceful surroundings. The staff were lovely and friendly.

A very comfortable room . Beautifully decorated. All little extras provided. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. We ate an evening meal in the pub which was also very good . Happily stay there again .

Beautiful views

The welcome by Linda was warm and personable and even though I arrived a bit early, my room was ready. I stayed in a single twin bed, it was comfortable and there was plenty of space for luggage, etc. The bathroom was newly renovated and the tiles and fixtures are top quality--best shower in Scotland! Well stocked coffee & tea station--specialty herbal teas and hot coco! Breakfast was delicious with a multitude of options. If you want porridge order the night before. It is a bit out of the center but very walkable. Great 3-day stay! Will definitely return!!!

Had a great week in the superb Kettle Cottage, great location with open views to the sea - great sunsets. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedroom had loads of space and bed very comfortable. Great walks from the cottage door or short drive away. All round great week and would hope to return
