Checked into hotel and the floor in the bedroom was soaking wet. There was a floor drying fan outside the room. The room was very wet, damp and smelled like a wet dog. Told front desk about the issue.. was informed they would inspect the room and fix the issue, but that they’d move our room, refund our money and they’d call me regardless. Got back to the hotel, did not receive any word, and the drying fan was inside our room, not on. Told front desk, again, that night… problem not dealt with, after they said they’d discount the room. Spoke to Front desk again the next morning… no resolution, and got a SERIOUS attitude from the front desk.
What once was a beautiful, well run facility, is not run very poorly. As a Long time Hilton honors member… I was very disappointed on the lack of follow through by the staff.
The resolution was that we stayed with a soaking wet bedroom floor, had to wear shoes around the room. No resolution attempted, no refund… POOR, POOR SERVICE!
