Stayed for 5 nights. Excellent service and helpful pleasant staff. Comfortable large clean lobby. Rooms cleaned and towels changed punctually everyday. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient location for going in any direction. The fastest elevators !

This is not a 4 star hotel despite the advertised rating. It is an old facility in urgent need of an upgrade. For example, the Astro turf up in the 12th floor terrace is in urgent need of replacement. To be fair, the room and bathroom were clean and adequate. Is not the hotel’s fault but its location is far from the city center and without easy access. The taxi rides in Palermo are expensive and must be factored in when calculating the total cost of your stay. Only some members of the staff were friendly. On the positive side, the price was relatively inexpensive but stay away from the hotel restaurant. The food there was mediocre and expensive although the person in charge was nice.

The picture of the room sleeping 3 I had booked resembled nothing like what we were given, so I had to upgrade and spend more morning. There were no glasses in the room which appeared on the 3 request. Only tea for 2 people with the 3rd cup never being provided. The tea and sugar were not refreshed in terms of supply. There was an elderly gentleman in reception one day who kept walking by the two teenage girls with me and making them feel unsafe.

The over all experience was really poor. The hotel is rated as 4 starts and affordable, but it shouldn’t be raided that high. The beds and rooms are nothing like in the pictures. It is far away from everything. I chose it because I thought even far away from center the experience was going to be good but it wasn’t. There were mosquitoes in the room, not able to get an extra pillow, plus mattress was really old, and you can tell it needs to be replaced. It was quiet and friendly staff. Maybe if you are traveling with your car could be an option but not recommended for tourist that want to experience Palermo.
