Nice, quiet in the mountains and forest. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On-site restaurant was very good. The only downside was the availability of breakfast was only on Friday-Sunday, probably a seasonal limit.

We love staying here. It’s better if you have more time to explore the property. Everyone is so nice and they have so many amenities. The creek running through the property is an experience you cannot just get st any hotel.

Nice cabin, lack of playground

The cabin was nice amd clean. We have always enjoyed coming here. However years ago they took the playground down. And after a few years they finally put one in onky to half way suit a baby. My 6 and 8 year old couldnt even slide due to no slide or swing as it onky favored babies. We have loved coming here but the lack of play ground is very disappointing. The lady at the front desk thought i was trying to break into a cabin because i walked all the way up there while my husband waited with the kids for me to get new keys. This new management is very strict unlike back when we went years ago they were so understanding and come to know us as we came up twice a year. Now we just feel like strangers. They even were hard to get a hold of for more trash bags as they only gave us one.

Excellent Stay!

This was our fifth stay in the last two years and we were again amazed at how much we enjoyed the Resort. The Staff is always great to work with and the grounds are always kept perfectly manicured. Our only wish is that the restaurant and bar were open thru out the week and their hours of operation were more consistent.

Nice job Kohl’s Ranch!

Great front desk service! We stayed in one of the triplet cabins, which had a nice open living & dining room. Nicely appointed bathroom, ample kitchen & 2 tv’s. We played pickleball, cornhole & enjoyed the hot tub. Short drive to Payson.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Kohl's Ranch is very clean and very family-friendly. My only wish is that the restaurant had a few more veggie options. We had a wonderful, relaxing family vacation. The Mogollon Rim and the Tonto Natural Land Bridge are very close to the natural wonders.

What i liked was the cozy, country life feeling. The BBQ Restaurant was OK and I'd eat there again. The staff was helpful and full of energy and made me feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. Definitely a place i will frequent in the future .
