Dirty, smelly room with loud neighbors

The rating for this hotel on Hotels.com did not match what we got when we arrived. We checked into a room that felt like a jail cell. It had a room with a window, but it was obscured by a wall. I asked for it to be changed. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The next room was a little better, but when I returned to the room after dinner, it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. My guess is that the person next to our room was smoking. I asked to switch to another room. By the time I went to bed I noticed that the sheets were dirty. The rooms are outdated. I was woken up in the middle of the night by neighbors that were so loud and continued to be loud for hours. I would never book this place again.

Super clean hotel. I would like to recognize Digna for cleaning my room. She did a great job as I had the cleanest room in all of Philadelphia. Thank you Digna! This hotel is very well managed. Everyone does a tremendous job and I highly recommend for all travelers.

Small room but thoughtfully laid out. Nespresso in-room coffee and filtered cold water stations on every floor with recyclable bottles were a great feature. Staff were all great. The maid service has 2 choices - we asked for express 1 day and were surprised to have someone show up at the door in 10 minutes with extra towels. Excellent location, room was spotless and there is a convenience closet on each floor if you forgot toothpaste, etc. We were missing a hair dryer, but I'm sure we could've had one if we called.

Good Service, Location

This is a good value stay with a good location. I had an issue with my room but the staff quickly switched me to a room nearby and I could see the maintenance crew was in the room with the problem to quickly rectify it for the next guest. Just be aware there is no refrigerator in many rooms. It's not a dealbreaker but is good to know.

On the surface, the facility and staff is fine. However, there is an unacceptable amount of noise from other guest rooms and other guests going on until early morning hours (4AM). This maybe a weekend phenomenon.

I enjoyed my stay at Club Quarters Hotel Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. The rooms were nice and clean not so much spacious but I still liked it. The staff was very friendly. Lot of nearby shopping, and restaurants. I would recommend & would definitely book with them again.
