The room was spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The lobby was fully decorated for the holidays with carolers and a Santa photo op. Perfect place to stay when visiting Philly for the Christmas markets just blocks away!

We visit Philadelphia frequently and have tried several hotels in the city center, and have been disappointed by most of them. We love the Rittenhouse, but find it too expensive. The Loews was certainly good enough. Well run, friendly and comfortable. We will be back.

Valet parking was disorganized & associates were in no rush to help guests! They did not even apologize for the wait of 20 minutes to check me in! I was made to feel that I was an inconvenience! The heat and hot water were not working in the room! Staff did nothing about it when reported! They Blamed it on the city because it was snowing! The sole sink in the room was completely clogged and nothing was done to fix it! I have stayed at this hotel several times with minor issues and never complained! This was a horrible stay! They cater to large groups not individual VIP guests

The hotel had no hot water so my friend and I were unable to take hot showers in the morning. The staff and manager (Sarah) lied to us and said it was a city problem. They stated that the city was out of hot water and it wasn’t their fault. Well I work in the building next door and our entire building had hot water as well as the Marriott across the street. I informed them that the city supplies water not hot water and that it is the facility’s responsibility to make hot water. The manager then lied and said they had no water for a period of time also. If this has any truth to it, then I question the cleanliness especially when this hotel has room service, a bar and separate restaurant. The hotel manager offered to validate our parking as an accommodation but nothing on the $335/night room. What a poor way for a premium hotel to treat its customers.
