The staff was polite, location was great and overall the hotel was cute. The only reason I didn’t give 5-stars is the light switches in the room were super confusing and difficult to figure out what they controlled. The only way I could turn the lights off over the bed was to turn the off the “master” switch by the room door(yes all the way by the door to entire the room meaning through the entryway and bathroom area I.E. the opposite side of the room) but then I couldn’t have any other lights in. I wanted to make coffee and brush my teeth in the morning while my husband was still asleep but couldn’t turn on lights without turning on the light above the bed which I don’t want to do and wake up my husband. This was after waking up at midnight and spending 10 minutes trying to figure out how to turn the lights off above the bed, this is when I found the “master” switch. No kidding I searched every wall and light fixture for switches, it was nuts so nuts I have decided to downgrade their rating. I travel enough to be used to searching the room for light and fixture switches, this was just something else.

This hotel appears intended for young professionals who have university business. Concrete floors in the rooms, easily accessible meeting rooms and other techie type facilities give it a slightly hip vibe. Bar is quite nice. Staff also very nice.

This property has a spectacular roof top bar and restaurant but limited food options and no coffee. But if combined with the lobby amenities would be good. The bathroom is motel level. I was at the 9th floor and the traffic noise was bothersome.
